These ATV's were purchased primarily for the use on the Terrapin Mountain ATV Trail System. We are often called to the trails in the summer months to provide care, and extract injured ATV and dirt bike riders.

These ATV's also are put to work on brush fires and search & rescue missions. Both ATV's have devices on the rear rack to hold equipment such as brush rakes and pulaskis. One of the ATV's has an additional basket type rack to hold equipment such as chain saws, leaf blowers, wildland packs, and water coolers.

This boat has a 50HP Evinrude E-TEC jet engine. It is owned by the Bedford County Department of Fire & Rescue, Special Operations Command team.

This engine was the first apparatus owned by BIVFD. It was purchased from Co. 1 (Bedford FD) in 1951. However, we could not take delivery until Co. 1's new engine arrived. This rig remained in service until 1982. It's last call was to set up a draft site on Penns Mill Road for a working structure fire.
